 | Diving visitors to Safaga in Egypt have a new wreck to explore, after the passenger and car ferry Al Kahfain caught fire, was evacuated and sank off the port at the beginning of November.
The ferry lies about 8 miles out, in 22m of water. It was once the Ulster Queen, which plied between England and Northern Ireland - hence the name on the bell pictured here with its retriever, Khaled Kenawy, who works as a dive guide on the Red Sea dive boat Snapdragon and was among the first to dive the Al Kahfain. |
